and other credible news sources, Honda is recalling, depending on the news source, 1.5 to 2.1 million Honda Accord automobiles world-wide. The problem at hand is a car battery monitor that has reportedly caught on fire in 4 cars to date worldwide, Once again, as with the Takata airbag debacle, the culprit here is moisture and heat intrusion due to the (possible) improper weather sealing of the battery system component, more likely than not manufactured by an independent parts supplier.
