How to get more performance out of my stock 1969 chrysler newport 383 V8?

I'm looking at replacing the carb, intake manifold, cam, headers, & exhaust. Would like suggestions on types of carb in terms of CFM, type of headers, brands, etc. from car enthusiast out there. Car runs good with 47,000 original miles and is all stock. Thanks.

Nice car! I'd put some long tube headers on it, an H pipe, and your choice of mufflers (magnapacks, flowmaster 44's, etc.). Higher flow air filter, 4 bbl carb, rear gears. Automatic? I would put on a stall converter and a shift kit. Oh and I would upgrade to electric rad. fans too (if they're belt driven then it may overheat in traffic).
