the holden has IRS suspension in the back which is good for a car, not for a ute that is made for load carrying. you can pretty much say goodbye to any tyres lasting long on the rear at all.
the falcon how ever is still a workhorse yet can play to. it still has the leaf springs in the back meaning you can actually load stuff into the back and not have to worry about scrubbing your tyres out like in the holden.
the falcon would be quicker, but you would miss out on the v8 rumble.
