Mercury Comet Pros and Cons?

Can someone tell me the pros and cons of buying a Mercury Comet? I really like the car but I feel like its too outdated now.
 
Comet is cool. A V8 Comet GT is a terrific mini muscle car. Maverick Grabber, too. A 5.0 from a mustang would help it a lot.
